Beyond logic there is only nonsense

Abstract This paper provides an interpretation of Father Bocheński’s saying “Beyond logic there is only nonsense.” He considered the battle against superstitions various kinds as one most important intellectual and social duties. The phrase in itself suggests that a weapon mentioned battle. Logic understood broadly, is, semantics, formal methodology science, was by Bocheński main instrument rational philosophy. Hence, formula under discussion has explicit metaphilosophical significance, although Bochenski’s understanding concept differs from Vienna Circle.
